UK Hydrogen champion Adelan has received the Green Cross award for generating innovative solutions for the climate emergency

Birmingham-based Adelan was awarded a coveted Green Cross UK award earlier this year, acknowledging its energy transition mission to commercialise hydrogen technologies around the world. A global leader in hydrogen fuel cell innovation based in the Midlands, Adelan has been recognised among governments, organisations, the private sector, and the media for generating innovative low carbon energy solutions to the climate emergency. The Green Cross Energy Transition Award recognises the company’s contributions and leadership in energy transition towards communities and the environment.
The Green Cross Award is voted for by the Green Cross Human Impact Panel in the UK, to reward actions that transcend the path to sustainability. The announcement recognises Adelan’s work in developing low carbon products for the clean energy market and offering unique fuel cell system sales and strategic partnership to customers looking to decarbonise. “It is a pleasure and honour to be recognised in this way by the Green Cross UK,” said Dr Michaela Kendall, CEO, Adelan. “As we work together to jointly address the issue of global climate change, we must network and manage our green technology assets and mobilise them rapidly using green finance tools. COP27 brought the alignment of economic and political goals into focus, we must act now to deliver an equitable energy transition.”
